Western Blot: HLTF Antibody [NB100-1041] - staining (0.5ug/ml) of HeLa lysate (RIPA buffer, 30ug total protein per lane). Detected by chemiluminescence.
Flow Cytometry: HLTF Antibody [NB100-1041] - Flow cytometric analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed A431 cells (blue line), permeabilized with 0.5% Triton. Primary incubation 1hr (10ug/ml) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 ...read more
Western blot: Approx. 125kDa band observed in nuclear lysates of cell line HeLa and in preliminary testing of A431 nuclear cell lysate (calculated MW of 114kDa according to NP_003062.2). This molecular weight is routinely observed by other sources. Recommended concentration: 0.3-1ug/ml. Primary incubation 1 hour at room temperature.
Theoretical MW
114 kDa. Disclaimer note: The observed molecular weight of the protein may vary from the listed predicted molecular weight due to post translational modifications, post translation cleavages, relative charges, and other experimental factors.
Primate reactivity reported in scientific literature (PMID: 23415230). Predicted cross-reactivity based on sequence identity: Mouse, Rat, Canine, Bovine.

Background
The HLTF (Helicase-like Transcription Factor; SMARCA 3) gene is a member of the family of genes that remove proteins that coil around DNA. HLTF proteins aid the stabilization and regulation of the production of proteins in the cell. Inactivation of the HTLF gene may contribute to the transformation of normal colon cells into cancer cells.
