Fgr Antibody [Unconjugated]

Western blot shows lysates of Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line, U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line, and L6 rat myoblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human/Rat Fgr Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3207) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF109). A specific band was detected for Fgr at approximately 59 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

Fgr was detected in immersion fixed U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line using Goat Anti-Human/Rat Fgr Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3207) at 15 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red; NL001) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. Staining was performed using our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Non-adherent Cells.

Background

Fgr is the cellular homolog of the oncogenic protein encoded by the Gardner-Rasheed feline sarcoma virus. A member of the Src family of nonreceptor tyrosine kinases, Fgr is predominantly expressed in neutrophils, macrophages, monocytes, and natural killer cells. Mice lacking Fgr fail to recruit eosinophils to the lung during allergic airway inflammation.
