Description | Novus Biologicals Mouse FCAR/CD89 Antibody (MIP8a) - BSA Free (NB100-63266) is a monoclonal antibody validated for use in ELISA, Flow and IP. All Novus Biologicals antibodies are covered by our 100% guarantee. |
Immunogen | Recombinant soluble human Fc alpha R |
Localization | Type I membrane protein (isoforms A); secreted (isoforms B). |
Specificity | NB100-63266 recognizes the human CD89 cell surface antigen, a 50-75kD cell surface glycoprotein that is also known as the IgA receptor (Fc alpha R). CD89 is expressed by peripheral blood monocytes and neutrophils. Clone MIP8a blocks binding of IgA to the Fc alpha R, and also inhibits neutrophil phagocytosis of IgA complexes. |
