Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-DCAMKL1 antibody NBP2-36420 used for WB at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-DCAMKL1 antibody NBP2-36420 used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. DCAMKL1 was also immunoprecipitated by another rabbit anti-DCAMKL1 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated DCAMKL1, NBP2-36420 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

DCAMKL1 is a microtubule-associated protein that phosphorylates itself and myelin basic protein (MBP; MIM 159430). DCAMKL1 has microtubule polymerizing activity that is independent of its protein kinase activity (Lin et al., 2000 [PubMed 11124993]).[supplied by OMIM]
