PVDF Membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL of Rat Anti-Mouse Common gamma Chain/IL-2 R gamma Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB7843) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). A specific band was detected for Common gamma Chain/IL-2 R gamma at approximately 45 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

Background

The Common gamma Chain, also known as CD132, is a transmembrane protein belonging to the hematopoietin receptor family. gamma _c is a signaling component of the functional receptor complexes for IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, and IL-15.
