- Assay Diluent A (Item D): Diluents buffer, 0.09% sodium azide as preservative.
- Assay Diluent B (Item E): 5x concentrated buffer.
- Detection Antibody Eotaxin-2 (Item F): Biotinylated anti-mouse Eotaxin-2. Each vial isenough to assay half the microplate.
- Eotaxin-2 Microplate (Item A): 96 wells coated with anti-mouse Eotaxin-2.
- HRP-Streptavidin Concentrate (Item G): 200x concentrated HRP-conjugatedstreptavidin.
- Note: Return unused wells to the pouch containing desiccant pack, reseal along entire edge.
- Standard protein (Item C): Mouse Eotaxin-2. 1 vial is enough to run each standard induplicate.
- Stop Solution (Item I): 0.2 M sulfuric acid.
- TMB One-Step Substrate Reagent (Item H): 3,3’,5,5’-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) inbuffered solution.
- Wash Buffer Concentrate (20x) (Item B): 20x concentrated solution.

Background
Eotaxin 2, also known as CCL24, is a part of a subfamily of the cytokine CC genes which are involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. Eotaxin 2 plays a role inducing chemotaxis in eosinophils when interacting with CCR3. This protein is known to have interactions with CCR3, CCR1, CCR10, CCR2 and CCR4.
