This antibody reacts with the zymogen as well as the activated form of cathepsin D. It stains fibroblasts and macrophages strongly but stains the myoepithelial cells of breast weakly. It also stains sweat ducts and glands in the skin, islets cells and granules of pancreatic acini. |

IHC: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:75-1:200 in an ABC method. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30-60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions and antibody dilutions should be determined by the user. |
