Western Blot: Aurora A Antibody (35C1) [NB100-1641] - Analysis using the Biotin conjugate of NB100-1641. Detection of recombinant Aurora-A kinase protein probed with 100-1829 and F(ab')2 rabbit anti-mouse IgG:HRP.
Recognizes human Aurora-A kinase, a ~46kDa serine/threonine kinase involved in mitotic spindle assembly. Clone 35C1 specifically recognises an epitope within the non-catalytic N-terminal domain of Aurora-A. Clone 35C1 does not inhibit Aurora-A kinase activity.

Background
NB 100-1641 recognizes human Aurora-A kinase, a 46kDa serine-threonine kinase involved in mitotic spindle assembly. Aurora-A is reported to be overexpressed in many epitheial cancers and is thought to play an important for in tumorgenesis.
