FAQs for TRIF/TICAM1 Protein (NBP1-77221PEP). (Showing 1 - 3 of 3 FAQ).

  1. Can NBP1-77221PEP be used as a TRIF inhibitor?
    • NBP1-77221PEP is a blocking peptide specific to our TRIF antibody, NBP1-77221. This peptide corresponds to a 14 amino acid length near the C-terminus of the protein. We have never tested this as a TRIF inhibitor and can only guarantee it to perform in a blocking/competition assay to block the binding of that specific TRIF antibody.
  2. We just purchased the TRIF inhibitor NBP1-77221PEP and we were wondering the EC50 to calculate which concentration of the peptides to use for our functional assays.
    • For our product NBP1-77221PEP, this item has unfortunately not been tested for functional assays and does not have a recorded EC50 value. This item is intended as the blocking peptide for NBP1-77221.
  3. Could you tell me the ED50 of this item?
    • Our peptide NBP1-77221PEP is provided as the blocking peptide for the antibody NBP1-77221. It has not yet been tested for use in blocking with live cells or tissues and the ED50 has not been calculated for this peptide.

Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
