TEAD1 Antibody (JE45-37)

Western Blot: TEF1 Antibody (JE45-37) [NBP3-33004] - Western blot analysis of TEF1 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-TEF1 antibody (NBP3-33004) at 1/1,000 dilution. Lane 1: HeLa cell lysate Lane 2: A549 cell lysate Lane 3: 293T cell lysate Lane 4: SiHa cell lysate Lane 5: C2C12 cell lysate Lane 6: L6 cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 ug/Lane. Predicted band size: 48 kDa Observed band size: 48/50 kDa Exposure time: 3 minutes; ECL; 4-20% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-33004) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Immunohistochemistry: TEAD1 Antibody (JE45-37) [NBP3-33004] - Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle tissue with Rabbit anti-TEAD1 antibody (NBP3-33004) at 1/200 dilution. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 2 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 1% BSA for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (NBP3-33004) at 1/200 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Background

This gene encodes a ubiquitous transcriptional enhancer factor that is a member of the TEA/ATTS domain family. This protein directs the transactivation of a wide variety of genes and, in placental cells, also acts as a transcriptional repressor. Mutations in this gene cause Sveinsson's chorioretinal atrophy. Additional transcript variants have been described but their full-length natures have not been experimentally verified.
