Western Blot: TEF1 Antibody (2E7N10) [NBP3-16593] - Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using TEF1 Rabbit mAb (NBP3-16593) at 1:1000 dilution. Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 10s.

Immunoprecipitation: TEF1 Antibody (2E7N10) [NBP3-16593] - Immunoprecipitation analysis of 600ug extracts of Mouse skeletal muscle cells using 3ug TEF1 antibody (NBP3-16593). Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using TEF1 antibody (NBP3-16593) at a dilition of 1:1000.

The CUT&Tag results indicate the enrichment pattern of TEAD1 in representative gene loci (SLC7A5), as shown in figure.

Background

This gene encodes a ubiquitous transcriptional enhancer factor that is a member of the TEA/ATTS domain family. This protein directs the transactivation of a wide variety of genes and, in placental cells, also acts as a transcriptional repressor. Mutations in this gene cause Sveinsson's chorioretinal atrophy. Additional transcript variants have been described but their full-length natures have not been experimentally verified.
