Background
S100P is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and they are involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100P, in addition to binding Ca2+, also binds Zn2+ and Mg2+. It may play a role in the etiology of prostate cancer (1).

FAQs for S100P Antibody (NBP1-95904). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQs).
I am interested in your S100P antibody EPR6142. I would like to know if you have tested this antibody against cross-reactivity with S100A1 and S100B? Do you also know whether the antigen peptide contained the sequence which is unique to S100P?
This antibody has not been tested for its cross reactivity against other family members. However, the immunogen for NBP1-95904 Anti-S100P, has 56% sequence similarity with S100A1, and 33% with S100B. Therefore, it is unlikely that the antibody will cross react with either of these proteins.
