Background

This enzyme catalyzes the final step in methionine biosynthesis. MTR mutations have been identified as an underlying cause of methylcobalamin deficiency complementation group G.Principle Names - MTR; 5-methyltetrahydrofolate-homocysteine methyltransferase methionine synthase
