Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MAML3 antibody NB100-2129 (lot NB100-2129-2) used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. MAML3 was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot of this antibody (lot NB100-2129-1) and rabbit anti-MAML3 antibody NB100-2128 For blotting immunoprecipitated MAML3, NB100-2129 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

There are 3 MAML (mastermind-like) proteins in mammals (MAML1-3). MAML3 is a coactivator for NOTCH signaling. MAML3 associates with NOTCH and CSL in a ternary complex and functions to activate transcription of HES and hairy-related basic helix-loop-helix transcription factors.
