Alternate Names for Recombinant Human LBP Protein
Background
Natural LBP is a 58 kDa glycoprotein produced in liver. It binds at lipid A of LPS with high affinity (10-9M) and reduced the cellular LPS effects at CD14+ cells (IL1Beta, IL6, TNFa). It acts as opsonin for GRAM negative cells, LPS, neutrophils and granulocytes. This is a His-tagged protein.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are
guaranteed for 3 months from date of receipt.
