Background

Haptoglobin combines with free plasma hemoglobin, preventing loss of iron through the kidneys and protecting the kidneys from damage by hemoglobin, while making the hemoglobin accessible to degradative enzymes.

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.

  1. I received an inquiry from a customer who purchased Anti-Haptoglobin Antibody, #NB100-64425, Lot280111. Could you let us know the antibody concentration? (The datasheet said Please see the vial label for concentration, but the customer said the antibody concentration wasn't shown on the label.)
    • I talked with the lab and they have informed me that this one has a concentration of 8.3 mg/mL with 10% specific antibody in the vial.
