| Application Notes |
ELISA: NBP2-41371 was used in ELISA. A sandwich ELISA can be made using NBP2-41371 (1-4 ug/ml) as the capture antibody and biotinylated NBP2-41373 (0.05 - 0.2 ug/ml) as the detection antibody in order to detect the peptide from the inhibitory tract (AA 138-131). WB: NBP2-41371 was used in Western blot. (1,2) IHC: NBP2-41371 was used in immunohistochemistry. |

Background
Nonvoltage-gated, amiloride-sensitive, sodium channels control fluid and electrolyte transport across epithelia in many organs. These channels are heteromeric complexes consisting of 3 subunits: alpha, beta, and gamma. This gene encodes the gamma subunit, and mutations in this gene have been associated with Liddle syndrome.
