Background

The protein encoded by this gene, a member of the peptidase C1 family, is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase that may participate in the degradation of antigenic proteins to peptides for presentation on MHC class II molecules. The encoded protein can function as an elastase over a broad pH range in alveolar macrophages. Transcript variants utilizing alternative polyadenylation signals exist for this gene.

1. Our customer is searching for anti-Cathepsin S. Her sample is collected from mouse. And she prefers to have the antibody from mouse or rabbit. So she found NBP1-45464. However, the customer would like to see the WB result produced. We wonder if it is available.
   • Unfortunately, we do not have a WB image for this product at this time, although it is guaranteed for this use. The customer should expect to see a band at around 38-40 kDa for this product though.
