Background
Autophagy is the process by which endogenous proteins and damaged organelles are destroyed intracellularly. Autophagy is postulated to be essential for cell homeostasis and cell remodeling during differentiation, metamorphosis, non-apoptotic cell death, and aging. Reduced levels of autophagy have been described in some malignant tumors, and a role for autophagy in controlling the unregulated cell growth linked to cancer has been proposed.; FUNCTION: Plays a role in autophagy.; SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasmic vesicle, autophagosome membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Highly expressed in placenta (trophoblast cells) and pituitary gland. Not expressed in vascular endothelial.; INDUCTION: By hypoxia, leading to inhibit NOS3 expression.;

FAQs for ATG9B Antibody (NB110-74836). (Showing 1 - 2 of 2 FAQ).
-
How much is the molecular weight of ATG9B protein?
- The predicted molecular weight of ATG9B protein is 101kDa
-
Is this ATG9b antibody (NB110-74836) the same as the (discontinued?) R-144-100? Or are they different products?
- Our product NB110-74836 is a different product than our discontinued product R-144-100. NB110-74836 is made against mouse autophagy-related protein 9B (ATG9B) and R-144-100 was made against human autophagy-related protein 9B (ATG9B). We have been recommending NBP1-77169 as a replacement product to R-144-100.
