Background

CTBS is involved in the degradation of asparagine-linked glycoproteins. Hydrolyze of N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosamine (1-4)N-acetylglucosamine chitobiose core from the reducing end of the bond, it requires prior cleavage by glycosylasparaginase.
