• Application Notes: WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 48 kDa band in lysates of B-cell line Daudi after 0.1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 74.1 kDa band according to NP_061834.1 and 69.8 kDa band according to NP_001001895.1. The 48 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. IHC-P: Human spleen shows cytoplasm staining of T-cells eccentrically gathered around an artery.

Background

UBASH3A, ubiquitin associated and SH3 domain containing, A, interferes with CBL-mediated down-regulation and degradation of receptor-type tyrosine kinases. Promotes accumulation of activated target receptors, such as T-cell receptors, EGFR and PDGFRB, on the cell surface (referenced from Swiss Prot).
