Application Notes | May be useful in Flow, IF, and WB. WB: Detects an approx. 450 kDa (nonreduced), which corresponds to the predicted molecular weight of Thrombospondin. This antibody blocks anti-angiogenic activity of TSP 1 by inhibiting its binding to TSP Receptor / CD36. This antibody inhibits the adhesion of human melanoma G361 cells, keratinocytes, squamous carcinoma cells, and rat smooth muscle cells to TSP 1. It does not inhibit aggregation of thrombin-induced platelets. |

AHR - A transcription factor regulating immunity and tumorigenesis The aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) is a ligand activated transcription factor that controls the expression of a diverse set of genes. In the absence of ligand, AHR is retained in the cytoplasm. Upon ligand binding AHR translocates to the nucleus w... Read full blog post. |
