Flow Cytometry: TCR alpha Antibody (F1) [FITC] [NBP2-22494] - Flow cytometry analysis of TCR V alpha 2 (F1) on TCR V alpha 2 positive MOLT16 cells (left panel) or negative control HPB-ALL cells (right panel). Equal numbers of cells were stained with a FITC labeled TCR V alpha 2 (F1) monoclonal antibody or were left unstained. 5ul of primary antibody were used per test. All antibody incubations were performed for 30 minutes at room temperature. A representative 10,000 cells were acquired for each sample.

Background

T cell receptor (TCR) is a heterodimer consisting of an 945; and a 946; chain (TCR alpha/beta) or a 947; and a delta chain (TCR gamma/delta). TCR-beta is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and a component of the CD3/TCR complex (along with TCR-alpha). It is expressed on alpah/beta TCR-bearing T cells and thymocytes. The CD3/TCR complex plays a key role in antigen recognition, signal transduction, and T cell activation. The MAB0872 antibody does not cross-react with delta/gamma TCR-bearing T cells.
