Western Blot: STAT4 Antibody (JJ08-85) [NBP2-67868] - Analysis of STAT4 on Daudi cells lysates using anti-STAT4 antibody at 1/1,000 dilution.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: STAT4 Antibody (JJ08-85) [NBP2-67868] - Staining STAT4 in SW480 cells (green). The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue). Cells were fixed in paraformaldehyde, permeabilised with 0.25% Triton X100/PBS.

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: STAT4 Antibody (JJ08-85) [NBP2-67868] - Analysis of paraffin-embedded human tonsils tissue with Rabbit anti-STAT4 antibody washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/400 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Flow Cytometry: STAT4 Antibody (JJ08-85) [NBP2-67868] - Analysis of Hela cells with STAT4 antibody at 1/50 dilution (red) compared with an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black). Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti rabbit IgG was used as the secondary antibody.

Background

STAT4 is encoded by this gene is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. This protein is essential for mediating responses to IL12 in lymphocytes, and regulating the differentiation of T helper cells.
