Background

Phosphatidylserine-specific phospholipase A1-alpha (PLA1A) acts specifically on phosphatidylserine (PS) and1-acyl-2-lysophosphatidylserine (lyso-PS) to hydrolyze fatty acids at the sn-1 position of thesephospholipids.(supplied by OMIM)
