Background

KIAA0101/NS5ATP9/PAF/p15(PAF) is involved in protection of cells from UV-induced cell death and is also a Hepatitis C NS5A up-regulation gene which may play a role in the pathogenesis of HCV-associated hepatocellular carcinoma.
