Background

PARG1 (PTPL1-associated RhoGAP protein 1) is a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) for Rho and Rap2. PARG1 has recently been identified as a candidate tumor suppressor in mantle-cell lymphoma. Alternative names for PARG1 include Rho GTPase-activating protein 29 and ARHGAP29.
