Immunoprecipitation: p400 Antibody [NB200-210] - Detection of human p400 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-p400 antibody NB200-210 (lot 2) used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. p400 was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot of this antibody (lot 1) and rabbit anti-p400 antibody from Company B. For blotting immunoprecipitated p400, NB200-210 was used at 0.1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

P400 protein is a 250 kd glycoprotein, characteristic of the cerebellum, which is accumulated at the endoplasmic reticulum, at the plasma membrane and at the post-synaptic density of Purkinje cells.
