IRF5 Antibody (10T1) - BSA Free

Western Blot: IRF5 Antibody (10T1) [NBP1-04307] - The extracts of Ramos, THP-1, A20 and NIH3T3 were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human IRF5 antibody (1:1,000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: IRF5 Antibody (10T1) [NBP1-04307] - Analysis in THP-1 cells line, stained with DAPI (Blue) for nucleus staining and antibody at 1:100 with goat anti-mouse IgG-Alexa fluor 488 conjugate (Green).

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: IRF5 Antibody (10T1) [NBP1-04307] - Human IRF-5 antibody (1:50) for 2 hours at room temperature. Antigen retrieval was performed in 0.1M sodium citrate buffer and detected using Diaminobenzidine (DAB).

Flow (Intracellular): IRF5 Antibody (10T1) [NBP1-04307] - An intracellular stain was performed on THP-1 cells with IRF5 Antibody (10T1) NBP1-04307PE (blue) and a matched isotype control(orange). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeablized with 0.1% saponin. Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 2.5 ug/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature. Both antibodies were conjugated to Phycoerythrin.

Flow Cytometry: IRF5 Antibody (10T1) [NBP1-04307] - Flow cytometry analysis of IRF5 in THP-1 cell line, staining at 2-5ug for 1x106cells (red line). The secondary antibody used goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa fluor 488 conjugate. Isotype control antibody was mouse IgG (black line).

Background

Interferon regulatory factor 5(IRF-5) is a member of IRF family, which plays a critical role in the regulation of genes induced by viral infection, immunostimulation and cell growth regulation. The expression of IRF-5 is limited to lymphoid organs, dendritic cells, and peripheral blood lymphocytes, but is not expressed in numerous leukemia and lymphoma cell lines. Three IRFs(IRF-3, IRF-5, IRF-7) function as direct transducers of virus-mediated signaling and play a critical role in the expression of type I interferon genes and some chemokines.
