Western Blot: HLTF Antibody [NB100-280] - Detection of Human SMARCA3 by Western Blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 ug) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SMARCA3 antibody NB100-280 used for WB at 0.1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Immunoprecipitation: HLTF Antibody [NB100-280] - Detection of human SMARCA3 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SMARCA3 antibody NB100-280 used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. SMARCA3 was also immunoprecipitated by another rabbit anti-SMARCA3 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated SMARCA3, NB100-280 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

The SWI/SNF-related, matrix-associated, actin-dependent regulators of chromatin (SMARC), also called BRG1-associated factors (BAFs), have been identified as components of the human SWI/SNF-like chromatin-remodeling protein complexes. SMARCA3 also known as HLTF (helicase-like transcription factor) has been shown to bind DNA promoter elements and stimulate transcription in cooperation with Sp1and Sp3 transcription factors.
