Background

Gastrokine-1 Protein, also known as GKN1, belongs to the gastrokine family. It has mitogenic activity and may be involved in maintaining the integrity of the gastric mucosal epithelium. Recombinant human GKN1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
