FoxC2 Antibody (665819) [CoraFluor™ 1] Summary

• Description: CoraFluor(TM) 1 is a high performance terbium-based TR-FRET (Time-Resolved Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) or TRF (Time-Resolved Fluorescence) donor for high throughput assay development. CoraFluor(TM) 1 absorbs UV light at approximately 340 nm, and emits at approximately 490 nm, 545 nm, 585 nm and 620 nm. It is compatible with common acceptor dyes that absorb at the emission wavelengths of CoraFluor(TM) 1. CoraFluor(TM) 1 can be used for the development of robust and scalable TR-FRET binding assays such as target engagement, ternary complex, protein-protein interaction and protein quantification assays.

• Specificity: Detects human FoxC2 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. Approximately 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) FoxA1 (aa 253‑472) is observed in Western blots but not in direct ELISAs. In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with rhFoxB1 (aa 191‑324), D3 (aa 1-140), F1 (aa 129-354), J1 (aa 306-421), K1 (aa 493-670), M1 (aa 642-763), P1 (aa 231-420), P2 (aa 269-460), P3 (aa 179‑279), or P4 (aa 229-410) is observed.

Background

FOXC2 belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which is characterized by a distinct DNA-binding forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in the development of mesenchymal tissues.
