Background

F-box only protein 42 (FBXO42) is a substrate recognition component of the SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein (SCF) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. The FBXO42 protein recognizes p53/TP53; which promotes its ubiquitination and degradation. FBXO42 is a member of the F-box protein family. Members of this family are characterized by an approximately 40-amino acid F-box motif. F-box proteins are also known to interact with SKP1 and other ubiquitination targets through their interaction domains.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
