• Application Notes: WB: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx. 48 kDa band and 28 kDa band in HepG2 lysates after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 54.8 kDa band according to NP_000069.2. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands).

Background

This antibody reacts with Bcl6 gene product in follicular lymphomas, diffuse large B cell lymphomas, Burkitt's lymphomas and in nodular, lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's disease.
