• Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx 55kDa and 25kDa in Human Bone Marrow, Lymph Node, Spleen and Tonsil lysates after 0.1ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 74.1kDa according to NP_061834.1 and 69.8kDa according to 061834.1. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional band). We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?

Background

UBASH3A, ubiquitin associated and SH3 domain containing, A, interferes with CBL-mediated down-regulation and degradation of receptor-type tyrosine kinases. Promotes accumulation of activated target receptors, such as T-cell receptors, EGFR and PDGFRB, on the cell surface.
