Background

Resistin-like molecule beta (RELM beta , also known as Found in Inflammatory Zone 2 (FIZZ2), is a homodimeric protein belonging to the RELM/FIZZ family of cysteine rich secretory proteins. RELM beta secretion by intestinal goblet cells is induced by Th2 cytokines in response to nematode infections.
