Background

N-alpha-acetylation is one of the most common protein modifications that occurs during protein synthesis and involves the transfer of an acetyl group from acetyl-coenzyme A to the protein alpha-amino group. ARD1A, together with NATH (NARG1; MIM 608000), is part of a major N-alpha-acetyltransferase complex responsible for alpha-acetylation of proteins and peptides (Sanchez-Puig and Fersht, 2006 [PubMed 16823041]).[supplied by OMIM]

Western Blot: HIF-1 alpha Antibody (H1alpha67) [NB100-105] - Naive CD4 T cells from WT, VHL-deficient (Vhl KO), or HIF-1 alpha-deficient (HIF-1 alpha KO) mice were differentiated under IL-22-skewing conditions for a total of 60 h. Some cells remained at normoxia for the duration of the culture (N); others were at normoxia for 35 h and then hypoxia (1% O2) for 24 h (H). EGFR was detected in immersion fixed A431 human epithelial carcinoma cell line using Goat Anti-Human EGFR Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF231) at 1 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Western blot shows lysates of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line and MDA‑MB‑231 human breast cancer cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human EGFR Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF231) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). A specific band was detected for EGFR at approximately 175 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
