Immunoprecipitation:Musashi-2 AntibodyNBP3-30398] -Detection of human MSI2 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MSI2 antibody NBP3-30398 used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. MSI2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-MSI2 antibodies A303-215A and BL11500, which recognize other epitopes. For blotting immunoprecipitated MSI2, NBP3-30398 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background

Musashi 2 encodes a protein containing two conserved tandem RNA recognition motifs. Similar proteins in other species function as RNA-binding proteins and play central roles in posttranscriptional gene regulation.
