Western Blot: MOV10 Antibody [NB100-77314] - Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 ug for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded), 293T (T; 50 ug) and mouse NIH3T3 (M; 50 ug) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MOV10 antibody used for WB at 0.1 ug/ml (A) and 1 ug/ml (B) and used for IP at 6 ug/mg lysate. MOV10 was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot (NB100-77314) of this antibody. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A) and 10 seconds (B).

Background

Moloney leukemia virus 10 protein (MOV10) is putative RNA helicase that has been identified as a factor associated with argonaute (Ago) containing complexes. Ago complexes play a central in micro RNA (miRNA) and short-interference RNA (siRNA) silencing.
