Application Notes
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is: 0.5 microgram per one millioncells in 100 microliter volume. Immunohistochemistry-frozen sections. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Reactivity Notes

Mouse b haplotype, Cross-reacts with H-2 k and H-2 u haplotypes. Does not react with other haplotypes (e.g., d, f, q, r, s).. Please note that this antibody is reactive to Mouse and derived from the same host, Mouse. Additional Mouse on Mouse blocking steps may be required for IHC and ICC experiments. Please contact Technical Support for more information.

Alternate Names for I-Ab Antibody (AF6-120.1)

The AF6-120.1 antibody reacts with the I-Ab MHC class II alloantigen. These class II molecules are expressed on antigen presenting cells (including B cells) and a subset of T cells from H-2b bearing mice and are involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD4 proteins. The AF6-120.1 antibody cross-reacts with H-2k and H-2u haplotypes; this antibody does not cross-react with other haplotypes (d, f, q, r, s).
