• Immunogen: This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 6-18 of Human DNA polymerase mu. DNA polymerase mu is a template-directed terminal deoxynucleotidetransferase that shows a preferential expression in proliferating lymphoid cells.
• Specificity: This has been tested by Western blot against a panel of human cell lines. It shows a band at close to the predicted band size of 55kD. However, we have no strong proof of specificity for DNA polymerase mu and so we have made this available as a Fast-Track
