• Application Notes: MA successful usage is reported in scientific literature (PMID: 22922091). WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 28 kDa band in human testis lysates after 0.3 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 18.0 kDa band according to NP_001318.1. The 28 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

Background

Cancer/testis antigens, such as CTAG1B, are expressed in a variety of malignant tumors but soley in testis among normaladult tissues (Yoshida et al., 2006 (PubMed 16596224)).(supplied by OMIM)
