Background

CKAP2L (cytoskeleton-associated protein 2-like) has been identified in a mass-spectrometry-based search for phosphorylation sites in mitotic spindle-associated proteins. In similar mass-spectometry based experiments, it has also been identified as a protein whose phosphorylation is cell cycle regulated.

  CKAP2L antibody used at 1:300 dilution in ICC-IF for studying the subcellular Localization of CKAP2L in human Wild-Type lymphoblastoid cell lines/LCLs - CKAP2L was detected at the spindle pole from prometaphase to telophase, whereas, the interphase cells did not show any CKAP2L staining (Figure 3). ICC-IF also performed for CKAP2L on HaCaT Cells (Figure S3). Antibody also used on LCLs from Filippi Syndrome affected Individuals Carrying the c.571dupA Mutation - no reactivity for CKAP2L was observed at the spindles or the spindle poles of dividing cells (Figure 4). Antibody used for WB on lysates from control and mutant LCLs (Figure 5D). Antibody also used at 1:10000 dilution in IHC-Fr on transverse section of murine E10.5 whole embryo and an E12.5 forelimb bud (Figure 6).
