Western Blot: CHD4 Antibody [NB100-57521] - Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 ug, HEK293T (T; 50 ug) and mouse NIH 3T3 (M; 50 ug) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CHD4 antibody used at 0.04 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3seconds.

Immunoprecipitation: CHD4 Antibody [NB100-57521] - Detection of human CHD4 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CHD4 antibody NB100-57521 used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. CHD4 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-CHD4 antibodies (NB100-57519, NB100-57520), and rabbit anti-CHD4 recombinant monoclonal antibody [BLR066G] (NBP2-77358). Background

CHD4/Mi2beta is a helicase component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex that functions to remodel chromatin and repress transcription. Outside of the NuRD complex, CHD4/Mi2beta can function as an activator of transcription in association with p300 histone acetyltransferase. Alternate names for CHD4/Mi2beta include chromodomain-helicase-DNA-binding protein 4, CHD-4, ATP-dependent helicase CHD4, Mi-2 autoantigen 218 kDa protein, Mi2-beta, Mi-2b, and DKFZp686E06161.
