Background

The protein encoded by the Cathepsin O gene is a cysteine proteinase and a member of the papain superfamily. This proteolyticenzyme is involved in cellular protein degradation and turnover. The recombinant form of this enzyme was shown todegrade synthetic peptides typically used as substrates for cysteine proteinases and its proteolytic activity wasabolished by an inhibitor of cyteine proteinase. Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
