The immunogen recognized by this antibody maps to a region between residue 1439 and 1489 of human calmodulin regulated spectrin-associated protein 1-like 1 using the numbering given in entry EAW91320.1 (GeneID 23271).
Based on 100% sequence identity, this antibody is predicted to react with Panda, Orangutan, Gorilla, Chimpanzee, Crab-eating macaque, African elephant, Chinese hamster, Small-eared galago and Northern white-cheeked gibbon. Rat reactivity reported in scientific literature (PMID: 24440982)

CAMSAP1L1 (calmodulin-regulated spectrin-associated protein 1-like protein 1) is related to CAMSAP1. Both contain an N-terminal CH (calponin homology domain) which is an actin-binding domain found in cytoskeletal and signal transduction proteins. The CAMSAP1 family of proteins also contains a unique C-terminal CKK (DUF1781) domain which has been found to bind microtubules. The function of CAMSAP1L1 has not been characterized. CAMSAP1L1 is also known as KIAA7078.
