LYOPH |
| Reconstitution Instructions |
Centrifuge prior to opening. Reconstitute with 4 mM HCl to a final concentration of 0.1 mg/ml. Further dilutions should be made in appropriately buffered solutions. |
Notes
This lyophilized preparation is stable at 2-8 degrees C, but should be kept at -20 degrees C for long term storage, preferably desiccated. Upon reconstitution, the preparation is most stable at -20 to -80 degrees C, and can be stored for one week at 2-8 degrees C. For maximal stability, apportion the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store at -20 degrees C to -80 degrees C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Background
Bone Morphogenetic Protein-5 (BMP-5) is a TGF-b superfamily cytokine that forms 40 kDa disulfide-linked homodimers. It signals through hetero-oligomeric complexes of type I and type II serine/threonine kinase receptors. BMP-5 promotes chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation, ovarian granulosa cell proliferation, dopaminergic neuronal differentiation, and dendrite outgrowth.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are
guaranteed for 3 months from date of receipt.
