Background

ANKRD2 belongs to the conserved muscle ankyrin repeat protein (MARP) family. Expression of MARPs is induced in response to physiologic stress, injury, and hypertrophy (Miller et al., 2003 [PubMed 14583192]).[supplied by OMIM].
