Western Blot: Anillin Antibody [NBP1-31060] - Whole cell extract (30 ug) was separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Anillin antibody [C3], C-term diluted at 1:500. The signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Anillin Antibody [NBP1-31060] - Analysis of methanol-fixed HeLa, using Anillin antibody (Green) at 1:500 dilution. Alpha-tubulin filaments were labeled with an alpha Tubulin antibody (Red) at 1:2000.

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: Anillin Antibody [NBP1-31060] - Human Kidney, using Anillin antibody at 1:100 dilution. Antigen Retrieval: Trilogy™ (EDTA based, pH 8.0) buffer, 15min.

The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (NBP2-19301) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.

Background

Anillin is an actin-binding protein that can bind septins and is a component of the cytokinetic ring. Anillin is expressed ubiquitously but with variable levels of expression, being highest in the central nervous system. Anillin is overexpressed in diverse common human tumors, but not simply as a consequence of being a proliferation marker. Anillin may have potential as a novel biomarker.
