Western Blot: Aminopeptidase B/RNPEP Antibody [NBP2-59130] - Detection of human RNPEP by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 ug) from HeLa, 293T, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RNPEP antibody NBP2-59130 used for WB at 1:1000. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Immunoprecipitation: Aminopeptidase B/RNPEP Antibody [NBP2-59130] - Detection of human RNPEP by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RNPEP antibody NBP2-59130 used for IP at 8 ul per reaction. RNPEP was also immunoprecipitated by another rabbit anti-RNPEP antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated RNPEP, NBP2-59130 was used at 1:1000. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

Exopeptidase which selectively removes arginine and/or lysine residues from the N-terminus of several peptide substrates including Arg(0)-Leu-enkephalin, Arg(0)-Met-enkephalin and Arg(-1)-Lys(0)-somatostatin-14. Can hydrolyze leukotriene A4 (LTA-4) into leukotriene B4 (LTB-4)
